Additionally, psychotherapy cannot guarantee results. If you are unhappy with therapy, please communicate this with your therapist to give your therapist a chance to improve, to make changes or to help you find a therapist who might be a better fit. Furthermore, the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Not all therapists will be the best fit and that’s okay. This will not hurt your therapist’s feelings, rather it is your therapist’s job to help you find someone you feel comfortable with. Therapy is for you.
